Classical relativistic string as an exactly solvable sector of the SO(1,1) x SO(2) gauge model
Description
It is shown that the classical relativistic string in four-dimensional space-time is described by a closed exactly solvable sector of the SO(1, 1) x SO(2) two-dimensional gauge model. (orig.)
