This part of the French occupational hygiene and security rules describes all aspects of ionizing radiation risks: risk mechanisms (basic nuclear physics, biological effects of radiations), choice for a protection process, most common sources and uses (sealed sources, electric X-ray generators), international and national norms producing organisms; approved organisms, presentation of regulation (legal texts), personnel protection (normal and exceptional occupational conditions, classification of exposed people and dose limitations), information and training, medical surveillance and occupational diseases; technical rules and processes: places (industrial installations, basic nuclear installations, workers surveillance), installation of generators and sources (general rules, electrical X-Ray generators, sealed sources, industrial gamma radiology installations for non-destructive testing), controls (general rules, installations, ambience), personnel protection (collective, individual), radioactive wastes management, incidents (behaviour in case of radiological incident, external and internal contamination).
