Evaluation of positron tomography ECAT II (Tohoku University)

Description
Efficiency of a whole body positron tomography scanner (ECAT II) was evaluated. With a very slight effect of location in a visual field on resolution and sensitivity, the calibration curve was linear upto the concentration of 2.5μCi/ml. This apparatus with excellently stability, may make it possible to measure in vivo concentration of positron nuclides quantitatively. (Ueda, J.)
