Spectral characteristics of the cadmium sulfide-telluride heterojunction

Description
Description is made of properties of the graded-gap heterostructure CdSxTe1-x obtained by annealing of cadmium sulphide monocrystals in tellurium vapours. The photosensitivity spectrum is restricted by the phonon-energy interval 1.3-2.3 eV with lighting through CdS, broadening into the short-wave region up to 3.0 eV, with lighting through the thin graded-gap layer. The effect of technological production conditions of an electrical field and temperature on spectral characteristics of the heterojunction is investigated
