Description
New circuity of injector and accelerating sections of a linear induction accelerator is considered. The casing of a section comprises: an induction system with a current pulse generator on the basis of double slab shaping lines disposed over ferromagnetic cores; multichannel spark gap with forced current division between channels; systems of core demagnetization, electron beam shaping and transport. Results of electron beam shaping in the injector section and its acceleration in the first accelerating section of the accelerator at beam injection in the range 0.2-0.4 MeV, 1-2 kA, pulse duration of 60 ns are presented. The accelerating section ensures beam energy gain up to 550 keV at charging voltage of the pair shaping line equal to 60 kV
