Quality of water of Zeravshan River and chemical analysis of seasonal snows on glaciers of Zeravshan River basin
- 1. Tajik National University, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)
Description
The article presents for the first time data on chemical composition of waters of Zeravshan River and its tributaries starting from the formation zone to the lower reaches in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is shown, using modern methods of analysis, that concentration of heavy metals in the composition of water starting from the place of discharge of wastewater into the river to the very bottom does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration. It has been established that the main pollutants of the river are municipal and collector-drainage waters in the lower reaches of the Zeravshan River. (author)
