Extraction of uranyl sulfate by mixtures of di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid and uranyl di-2-ethylhexylphosphate with petroleum sulfoxides

Description
Regions of either cation or noncation exchange synergetic effect have been detected at uranyl sulphate extraction by mixtures of di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid with oil sulfoxides. The extraction equilibrium constants have been determined, and the stoichiometry of the extraction by mixtures of uranyl di-2-ethylhexylphosphate with oil sulfoxides has been investigated. Oil sulfoxides are shown to be more pronounced synergetic agents as compared with dialkylsulfoxide and TBP
