Gamma-ray continuum spectra from heavy-ion reactions
Description
The spectrum shape, moment of inertia, and γ multiplicity were investigated for 164Yb. Moment of inertia is plotted vs spin for the 150Nd(20Ne,xn) reaction at 115 and 130 MeV. Means and widths of the multiplicity distribution are also plotted for 130-MeV 20Ne + 150Nd. Work on 130Ce was consistent with stretched E2 transitions. 2 figures
