Use of electrothermal atomization for determining metallic impurities in nuclearly pure uranium compounds

Description

Atomic absorption spectrometry with electrothermal atomization was used for the determination of Al, Cd, Cr, Fe, Mn, Mo and Ni as impurities in uranium oxide samples. The determinations were performed in solubilized samples both with and without uranium separation as well as in solid samples. (Author)

A espectrometria de absorcao atomica com atomizacao eletrotermica foi usada para a determinacao de Al, Cd, Cr, Fe, Mn, Mo e Ni presentes como impurezas em amostras de oxido de uranio. As determinacoes foram feitas nas amostras solubilizadas com e sem separacao de uranio e tambem no estado solido. (Autor)
