Description
Intensity ratios related to the shape of an angular correlation function have been obtained in the neighborhood of the (2s2p) 1P autoionized transition in helium using the (e,2e) fast coincidence technique. Subsequent comparison with the interpolated results of an accurate Born calculation reveals a deviation from theory which becomes more pronounced with increasing momentum transfer, ΔP. As ΔP→0 both theory and experiment tend, as expected, to the optical limit
