Description
This paper studies the cathodic process in the Sn/ZrO2-Y2O3 system in an H2 + H2O atmosphere. Stationary measurements were carried out, and the kinetics of the establishment of the currents when a rectangular voltage pulse is applied to the electrode-electrolyte boundary were investigated. A Pi-50-1 potentiostat and a PR-8 programmer were used for carrying out the chronoamperometric investigations. The stationary polarization plots in Patterson's coordinates are shown. The analysis of the stationary polarization curves was carried out with the use of Wagner's equation, which describes the diffusion current due to electron carriers
