Simplified approach to estimation of the residual supporting capacity of heat-exchange pipes with different corrosion

Description

The work is aimed at describing the simplified approach to the evaluation of the residual supporting capacity of the heat exchange pipes (HEP) with the various degree corrosion damages. It is shown, that the main cause of the HEP damage consists in their corrosion cracking under the stresses in the places of the steam generator (SG) water impurities concentration. The analysis of the SG safe operation is carried out by the criterion of the probability of rupture of one or more HEPs at the NPPs with the WWER-type reactors

Abstract (Russian)

Цель работы - описать простой подход к оценке остаточной несущей способности теплообменных труб (ТОТ), имеющих коррозионные повреждения разной степени. Показано, что основной причиной повреждения ТОТ является их коррозионное растрескивание под напряжением в местах концентрирования примесей воды парогенератора (ПГ). Проведен анализ безопасности эксплуатации ПГ по критерию вероятности разрыва одной или более ТОТ на АЭС с ВВЭР реакторами
