Tests the possibility of using a plastic detector for rapid screening of a large number of people

For rapid screening of a large number of persons or techniques, fast and sufficiently large-volume detectors with a possible spectrometric response need to be used. This enables new high-volume portal detectors with plastic scintillators capable of detecting gamma with sufficient efficiency and speed. As a prospective possibility, the use of plastic scintillation detectors, which do not have a suitable spectrometric response but are sufficiently sensitive, can produce relatively large volumes of crystals and are also affordable.
