Investigation of the operation of dispersive optical components

Description

A numerical investigation is made of the modulation of radiation in a gas whose resonance frequency is varied in time by the application of an external electric field. A good agreement between the calculated and experimental results is reported. An analysis is made also of total internal reflection from a plasma whose degree of ionization increases with time
