Description
A radiochemical method for neutron activation analysis of mercury in biological materials has been developed, based on the combination of two precipitation steps. Mercury is first precipitated in elementary form, and then as thiocyanate. Chemical yield is determined volumetrically. Results of the application to the analysis of hair and foodstuff samples are presented. (author)
