Computerized tomography in lymphoma kidney

We have reviewed the CT studies in our series of 18 patients with lymphoma involving kidney, 2 of whom were HIV-infected. In 8 patients (44,4%), it appeared in the form of multiple renal lymph nodes, associated in 6 cases with retroperitoneal adenopathy. In 7 patients (38,8%), the renal involvement was produced by infiltration from an adjacent retroperitoneal mass. Perirenal involvement was found in 7 patients, in 2 of whom it was not associated with renal involvement. Our series includes a case of primary renal lymphoma which presented in the form of bilateral renal lymphnodes, with no other associated site of involvement. (Author) 24 ref
