Description
HoMnFeO5 obtained from HoMn2O5 by replacing Mn3+ by Fe3+. The study of the crystallographic structure indicates that HoMnFeO5 is orthorhombic, Pbam space group. The magnetic measurements and the neutron diffraction experiments show that HoMnFeO5 is ferrimagnetic, with TC∼153K. The Ho3+ ions seem to present a frustrated magnetic order
