Identical particle interference in D+ meson lifetime

Description
A calculation is presented of the contribution to the D+ non-leptonic decay rate of the interference between the active and spectator anti d antiquarks, relating this effect to the shape of the electron energy spectrum in D semi-leptonic decay. Predictions for the D+ life-time and semi-leptonic branching ratio are also derived and discussed. (orig.)
