Structure of sintered steels
Creators
Description
The systematized analysis of peculiarities of the structure and properties of sintered iron-carbon alloys, is presented. Densification and diffusion processes during hard phase sintering of iron-base compositions, are presented. The main concepts of the sintering theory and the theory of steel thermal treatment are presented. Peculiarities of transformations of sintered steel during heating and cooling are shown, as well as the effect of porosity, inhomogeneity and nonmetallic inclusions on these transformations
