Description

The spectral fluence response of practicable neutron dosemeters for routine use generally does not match the spectral fluence response of radiation protection quantities such as the ambient equivalent H*(10). A knowledge of the prevalent spectral fluence is required to provide appropriate calibration factors for operational dosemeters. A program package was developed which assists the collection, archiving and interpretation of neutron spectra relevant for working environments. The features of this program package are briefly outlined and examples for dosimetric applications are given. (author)
