Method of storing radioactive gase
Description
This invention concerns a method of storing radioactive gases by injecting radioactive gas ions to the inner wall surfaces of a vessel thereby forming accumulated layers and sealing them. At first, a first high density layer not injected with gas is formed to a radioactive gas injected accumulation layer. Then, a non-radioactive gas injected accumulation layer is formed to the first high density layer and then a second high density layer not injected with gases to the accumulation layer. Thus, if an accident should occur at the inside or the outside of the vessel, radioactive gases are not released directly. Further, since the radioactive gases are released after the non-radioactive gases of the accumulated layer are initially released, successively release of the radioactive gases can be expected by the release of the non-radioactive gases and release of such radioactive gases can be prevented by previously detecting the release of the non-radioactive gases.
