Description

In a 68-year-old patient with brainstem/cerebellum abnormalities, a left cerebellar mass was demonstrated. It was characterized by hyperdensities in computed tomography; MRI revealed conspicuously low signal intensities on T2 weighting and isointense signal values with a peripheral gadolinium enhancement on T1 weighting. The histological finding was a metastasis of a mucus-forming adenocarcinoma which had originated in a tumor of the ascending colon. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

(orig.)
