Regulatory control of and international trade in irradiated foods

Description

Parameters which are likely to be subject of national regulations and which relate to the irradiated food are discussed from a point of view of facilitating international trade and of consumer protection. A critical examination is made of the need for and feasibility of legal control of the various parameters. Current international work in the field of irradiated foods is briefly discussed. (author)
