X-ray structure of the Vela supernova remnant
Description
The X-ray surface brightness distribution of the Vela supernova remnant is presented in three energy intervals on scales of 1.0 deg2 and 0.44 deg2. The 0.15--1.0 keV X-ray emission exhibits two principal regions of enhancement and a general limb brightening which may imply a shell-like source structure
