Description
In this article, the plasma level of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) in 40 patients with acute viral myocarditis and 20 healthy subjects (controls) were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA). The results showed that the level of ANF in patients was significantly lower than that of normal controls. The mechanism of the decrease of plasma ANF in this disease and its clinical significance were discussed
