Determination of kinetic parameters in the In-In3+ system on the base of impedance theory for multistage processes

Description
The system of a solid indium electrode in weakly acidic solutions of In(ClO4)3 of various concentrations with NaClO4 additives has been studied. Faradaic impedance of the electrode has been calculated for the two-stage discharge-ionization process of trivalent metal (Inreversible In+; IN+→In3+), complicated by the diffusion of In+ ions into solution. Proceeding from the earlier synthesized equivalent electrical circuit, relationships are derived which exist between the values of the circuit elements and the kinetic parameters of the separate stages of the process
