Description

The problem of particle and energy transport in a magnetically confined plasma, in a region where the magnetic field is completely stochastic, is of major importance for controlled fusion. The study of the particle diffusion problem through the solution of a differential equation is a rather new methodology. The purely magnetic aspect of the problem, i.e. the spatial diffusion of magnetic lines is studied. (author) 1 fig
