Synthesis of 3H-labelled flupamesone

Description

Flupamesone, a triamcinolone derivative, labelled with 3H, was prepared from dimethoxypamoyl chloride, 3H-triamcinolone acetonide and pyridine. The yield was 82%. Radiochemical purity, indicated by TLC and scintillation counting, was superior to 99%. Specific activity was 1.67 mCi/mN. (U.K.)
