Methods of mathematical processing of results of physicochemical investigation on complexes

  • 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Fiziko-Khimicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)

Description

The general principles of defining the equilibrium constants and physicochemical parameters of complexes during their dissociation are analyzed along with the possibilities of approximate calculation methods and direct analytical solutions of respective equations. Made is the comparison of various methods for simultaneous determination of the equilibrium constants and physicochemical parameters of complexes, based on the statistical principle of maximum likelihood. Ways to most rationally employ computers in studying complexing reactions by physical methods are discussed
