Annual report of department of research reactor, 2002 (April 1, 2002 - March 31, 2003)
Description
The Department of Research Reactor is responsible for the operation, maintenance, utilization of the JRR-3 and the JRR-4 and for the related R and D. Besides the RI production including its R and D are carried out. This report describes the activities of the department in fiscal year of 2002 and also includes some of the technical topics on the works mentioned above. As for the research reactors, we carried out the operation, maintenance, utilization of irradiation and neutron beam experiments, technical management including management of fuels and water chemistry, and related R and D works. The RI production and its R and D works were conducted as well. The international cooperations between the developing countries and the department were also made concerning the operation, utilization and safety analysis for research reactors. (author)
