Local people around the site of the Ikata Nuclear Power Plant, Shikoku Electric Power Company Incorporated, had made lawsuit against the permission of its installation by Prime Minister. The plaintiff lost the case. The reason for the court decision in full text is given, involving variety of safety aspects in nuclear power generation. (Mori, K.)
