The vertical sensing system of the ionosphere for assessing the seismic hazard
Description
The structure and technical characteristics of the system of vertical sounding of the ionosphere on the wavelength of λ =4.2m for assessing the precursor of seismic hazard, as well as the program of the radio-astronomical observations and a method of calibration of the system have been considered. The analysis of results of observations has confirmed the relation between the seismic phenomena and absorption by the ionosphere of radio-astronomical space sources at the m ≥3.5 magnitude earthquakes
