Thermonuclear device
Description
Purpose: To enable plasma control for the horizontal position and the profile configuration while maintaining plasma current constant. Constitution: Poloidal coils are constituted as a hybrid system, in which various types of poroidal magnetic fields are generated in one coil. Since the current transformer components having magnetic interactions with plasma current can be eliminated with ease from the poloidal magnetic fields prepared each of the coils, desired control can be facilitated.
