Description
At present, public communication on nuclear energy is one of the key factors affecting the promotion of nuclear energy projects and ensuring the healthy and sustainable development of nuclear energy cause. It is of great significance to thoroughly study public communication methods in the realm of spent fuel reprocessing and resolve public doubts and concerns about spent fuel reprocessing. This paper sorts out the nuclear energy public communication policies, regulations and the practical experiences in China. Investigates the progress of the public communication on domestic spent fuel reprocessing project, analyzes the main problems of public communication in the domain of post-processing, and puts forward strategic Suggestions targeting the major crux of the current post-processing project which are difficult to be successfully implemented. Meanwhile, according to the progress of the project, formulates the specific public communication plan in the early stage of the project. (authors)
