Description
This paper introduces the reasons that have driven Chinese national industries to develop SMR. The ACP100 SMR is discussed in this paper, which was developed by China National Nuclear Corporation. The technical aspects, main design parameters, engineered safety feature plan and testing and verification of ACP100 are also introduced. Licensing, site selection and future trends of SMR in China are briefly described in the end. (author)
