Description
A new design landfill has recently been placed in service at Rocky Flats. The paper describes the unique design of this landfill; techniques for capturing, monitoring and disposing of the leachate; methods to control solid waste placed in the landfill, and the system to prevent mixing of leachate with surface and subsurface runoff water
