Temperature and density in a subsonic jet for different operating states of an induction plasmatron
Creators
Description
The results of an experimental study of the temperature and density in a subsonic flow of air and nitrogen plasma in an inductive VGU-2 plasmatron for pressures in the range 104 ≤ P ≤ 9 x 104 Pa are presented. The dependences of the temperature on the pressure and the power injected into the discharge are determined. The radial profiles of the temperature in the high-temperature region show that there are no large temperature gradients in the plasma. It is shown that at the end of the plasmatron channel for P ≥ 104 Pa the state of the plasma is close to equilibrium
