Description

This paper describes the main results regarding the sizing of a 600 m3/hour annular induction electro-magnetic pump as well as the results of the tests performed in sodium on the pump constructed. The resulting computation/experience comparison enables to identify fields presenting a behaviour difference as compared to an extrapolation from the operation of smaller size pumps. Owing to these results, works relating to the sizing of large size pumps can be better directed
