The energy supply is one of the substantial lifelines of society. A strong potential for conflict, and thus a particular political need for control result from their high importance and the diverging interests of a variety of social groups.

Abstract (German)

Die Energieversorgung ist eine der materiellen Lebensadern einer Gesellschaft. Aus ihrer hohen Bedeutung und den voneinander abweichenden Interessen einer Vielzahl gesellschaftlicher Gruppen ergeben sich ein starkes Konfliktpotenzial und damit ein besonderer politischer Steuerungsbedarf.
