Measurement of radioactivity in rain fall for 2016

Description
It has been conducted measurement of environment radioactive pollutants from fall out by monitoring of α total, β total, 137Cs, 226Ra and 40K. The aim of the monitoring is to get current status of environmental base data of radioactive pollutants in Indonesia. Radioactive pollutants monitoring in rainfall was conducted by direct collecting via funnel jerrycan which was supported by wood box at 6 location i.e. Jakarta and Serpong were collected for one month, and Bukit Tinggi, Pontianak, Makassar and Kupang collected for three months in 2016. Analysis of gross α, and gross β in rain fall was carried out by evaporation and drying in planchet, and then was measured by LBC (Low Background Counter). Analysis of 137Cs, 226Ra and 40K in rain fall was obtained sample to be high concentration, and measured by Gamma Spectrometer. The result showed that concentrations of gross α, and gross β in rain fall at Jakarta, Serpong. Bukittinggi, Pontianak, Makasar and Kupang are not detectable or the value is lower than Minimum Detectable Concentration (MDC). The concentration of 137Cs, 226Ra and 40K are not detectable or the value is lower than Minimum Detectable Concentration (MDC). (author)
