Spatial correlations of particles in the pd→ppn reaction

Description
Angular distributions and correlations of secondary particles from the deuteron disintegration induced by a proton have been studied at 1.67 GeV/c momentum. It is shown that in the nucleon-spectator momentum range kinematically forbidden for the two-quasiparticle interaction the mechanism can be reproduced by the double scattering diagram with virtual Δ(3,3) excitation
