Vent filter assembly
Description
This patent proposes a vent filter assembly to improve particulate filters found on containers which are used to transport radioactive waste. While transport devices for radioactive waste are designed to withstand relatively high internal pressures, the waste containers themselves are not. This new filter will prevent the release of particulate matter from the container following the generation of gases from the waste within the container. (UK)
