An x-ray diffraction study on the structure of the aqua indium(III) ion in the perchlorate solution
Description
Abstract The structure of the aqua indium(III) ion has been studied in a 3 mol dm−3 In(ClO4)3 solution at 25 °C by an X-ray diffraction method. The result showed that the indium(III) ion has six nearest water molecules and the In–OH2 bond distance is 2.15±0.03 Å.
