Role of spin effects in nucleon-nucleon scattering total cross-section growth at superhigh energies
- 1. Joint Inst. for Nuclear Research, Dubna (USSR)
Description
The paper deals with the investigation of scattering of two particles with spin 1/2 in the limits of high energies and fixed momentum transfer on quasipotential comprising terms which lead to slightly energy dependent contributions into amplitude with one-fold change of helicity. Main asymptotic amplitude terms without changes in helicity and with one-fold change in particles helicities have been found. It is shown that the presence of slowly incident with energy growth of spin effects in nucleon-nucleon scattering leads necessarily to the growth of total cross sections
