Energy spectra and intensities of cosmic muons at large depth
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Yadernykh Issledovanij
Description
Results of calculations of muon spectra and angular distributions in water, strandard ground and Color Gold Fields ground, for which Z=13, A=26 were taken, are given. A possibility for the muon spectrum to become steeper at sea level in the energy range of approximately 1013 eV is noted. A possibility for studying the photonuclear interaction in experiments at considerable depths has been demonstrated. Estimations of direct muon contribution to the vertical spectrum in ground and to flux near the horizontal in water are given
