Technique for measuring the charged particle diffusion coefficient in a plasma
Description
The technique for measuring the charged particle diffusion coefficient in a plasma is described. The technique is based on the creation of local perturbation of the concentration of charged particles in the plasma and on the registration of change in time of this concentration. To provide measurements in high-temperature plasma, perturbation is created by the action of pulsed monochromatic laser radiation on the plasma, and radiation frequency coincides with the frequency of spectral transition of one of the atoms in the plasma. 1 fig
