Electricite de France is committed with the French designers to realize nuclear power plants in foreign countries, (South Africa and Iran). It intervenes in this field, in cooperation with industrial firms, through a new created entity: SOFINEL (Societe Francaise d'Ingenierie Electronucleaire et d'assitance pour l'exportation)

L'Electricite de France se trouve engagee aux cotes des constructeurs francais qui realisent des centrales nucleaires a l'etranger, a savoir en Afrique du Sud et en Iran. Elle intervient dans ce domaine, en cooperation avec les firmes industrielles, au travers d'une entite nouvellement creee, la Societe francaise d'ingenierie electronucleaire et d'assistance pour l'exportation, la SOFINEL
