The effect of x-rays on the holocentric chromosomes of a jassid
Description
A dose of 100r of X-ray caused chromosomal aberrations in the spermatocytes of the jassid, Goniagnathus punctifer (Walk). The nature of injuries on these holocentric chromosomes is similar to monocentric chromosomes. Neither multivalents nor fragments could be detected but bridges at anaphase were seen. (author)
