Polarographically detected effect of radium irradiation on DNA solution
Description
The authors have used the polarographic response of DNA as a measure of the effect of irradiation dose of radium applicators containing 10 mg, 20 mg, and 50 mg of radium. This method allows the comparison of the effects of various irradiation sources, and it was found that not only the dose (mgh) but also the screenage had a strong influence on the effect of the irradiation of DNA solution. Abstract (German)
