A Study on the Precision Test, Examination and Analysis Time of Experienced Medical Radiation Technologists and Beginner Radiation Technologists Using DXA

Variations between experienced x-ray technologists and beginners could be discovered on DXA accuracy tests, indicating their differences in knowledge and experience. This study analyzes the relationship between DXA scan times on the accuracy test and the level of experience with DXA. Through this research we may improve the diagnostic dependability and productivity of DXA studies. The target group of this research were 24 technologists in Seoul who have been working in the DXA departments of general hospitals. We have analyzed their accuracy test and scanning time data, as well as the duration of the accuracy analysis. We then divided them into two groups, one with more than 3 months of sufficient training and the other with only 1 month of basic training. After comparing the data between the two groups, we discovered a slightly higher DXA accuracy in the beginner group, however the difference was not statistically meaningful. The experienced group demonstrated faster scan times and following analysis time to a statistically meaningful degree (p<0.05). Based on this research, we can conclude that dependability and productivity could be improved through sufficient enough training for a certain period of time
